I think the rule of "the English is very poor" could infer that I must be between that people.

English is not my tongue language, and so, it's possible my english can be very poor or the poorest, hehehe. Im exagerating.
I like Ireland, but I dont live there, although I'd like to.

If the person is always making such a messages in the right way (I suppose) for many time, why cannot we think, the person is acting in the right way, and not scaming. Either person can mispell the words, and so, it's not enough to think that of that person.

I hope you have fun!

Very good tips. I'm actually a member at 419eater and have screwed up a few scammers! (who incidentally are not all Nigerian), There are many many scammers all over the world. Personally I have dealt with Russians and Filipinos (dating scammers) Malaysians and Chinese (advance fee fraud) (fake electronics sales) and the Classics from Africa, Ghana, Burkino Faso, Senegal, Benin, Ivory Coast, Mauritania and of course Nigeria. I also have a favourite from Azerbaijan who tried to sell me a 1500kg diamond. Yup 1500kg!! he was also able to get me Mithril and Adamantite! (Made up metals used in fantasy stories, games & films)

anyway 419eater has a new site which I would recommend for further reading into scams
www.scamwarners.com

Stay Safe and stay away from orphans in non-existant refugee camps in Senegal!
(one of the most common scams to hit dating sites)

according to my hotmail, I have won the national lottery twice in the past 3 days. All I have to do is contact some guy in the National Lottery (on his Yahoo email address) and I can claim my prize....

'Scare-Ware' are the scams that really annoy me.
I only recently discovered that was their name.

You probably have all seen the type i mean. You get a message telling you that your computer has errors and you can download a program to correct them.
You pay a small fee of around $20 and you can download a program which does actually scan your computer, but the catch is there was never any errors to begin with.

Apparently some of them just go through the motions and say your computer is fixed, however some actually install errors and/or spy-ware on your PC.

I was reading that they are trying to pass a law in America to make this sort of activity and advertising illegal because at the moment it is perfectly legal!

@SG you hit the Red button, didn't you the one that says "DON'T TOUCH".

Those scare-ware scams, I think a lot of them (not sure on this, I happily stand corrected, by anyone who knows better. eg most of you) even though they say it's fixed put a trojan on your computer (or an easy back door to open) So all the spyware and adware can come through it. Am I dream or is this true?

Hi guys

Yup scam warners is genuine. They set up as a response to the fact that the scammers only seem to be increasing in number, and also the victims, apparently the FBI reckon 419 takes out $200 million a year from the States and that's only what is reported. People are falling for these things all the time and unfortunately it is very very rare that the media will give an accurate account of the scam. Please send the link of scam warners to anyone you know who might not be as informed about such things. Everyday people are getting on to the net for the first time and it's fair to say that a small percentage, if they don't end up riddlin their computer with spyware and viruses will eventually get an email that they will fall for.

Take care

Here's a classic trophy that one of the baiters at 419eater got. Basically he convinced the scammer to re-record a famous song, then also got him to remix it African Style!
See if you can guess what it is!! Enjoy
