Stop Putting Your Clocks Forwards! (And Back After That...)

# 1 : Sunday 31-10-2010 @ 09:33

A lot of arguing has happened about stopping to put the clock backward, and remaining on summer time.

Do you think it is a good idea: health savings rather than energy savings?
What can be done, in practice, to ensure this is implemented next year. (Because let's face it, a TD and 2 doctors calling for it on the day before is just a PR stunt!)

Are you mad
Then we would just keep putting it forward and that would be totally weird.

Back in the 70s there was a year, maybe two, when the clocks didn't change. I can't remember whether we stayed on Summer time or Winter time. But it changed back. I'm not sure why the experiment wasn't continued.

Do phones and all that go back themselves? Is it 4.33 or 3.33?

My Samsung mini did but my Flahavan's clock in the Kitchen didn't.
I was going to ignore the clocks going back for today if I could.
It's now 7:19
