well if you go in before 10 - its free. so you could go and check it out for an hour and if ya like it you could stay - if not you can move on.
some nights are good, some not - depends really on the DJ .

Is this happening tonight?

I'll be there! Maybe, around 10.30.

Ended up in the George last night, christ it gets busy.
I was locked and any time i went off to get a drink or go to the toilets it took me ages to find anyone, i cant believe they let it get so crowded.
Found out my cousin works on the door, so we all got in for free.

Its fucking shit though.

Four iconic Dublin pubs hit the market this week in what’s the most significant city centre sale of licensed premises for years.

The prime pub portfolio includes Café en-Seine on Dawson Street, The George and The Dragon on South Great George’s Street , and Howl at the Moon on Lower Mount Street.

Terribly unfortunate use of the K word Poloblack.

God, I haven't being in the George in years! Has it changed much? I wonder if the new owners will shake up the entire place or just hold back, keep status quo and rely on the already developed trade.

aww I didn't mean it like that, just a throw-away word. Well i'm not the most regular visitor to the george but it has always felt very dated to me... The music seems to be better though, less remixes...
