I came out to my parents today. I told my dad that i had some news that might shock him. He thought that i was going to tell him that I had cancer. He was delighted that the news was only that i was gay. He said as long as i was happy that is all that matters. I thought he would have serious problems with it. How wrong was I. I am delighted now.

Yay!!! Great news!!!

Wow, thanks. So glad that it had a positive effect. Truly delighted for you that it went so well and hope everything else works out as well.

I hope you wouldn't have blamed me if things had gone badly!

If your lucky at the meet, I'll show you how with a little bit of imagination and a lot of liqour anybody can be blamed for anything!

Lovely to come home after a long shitty day and to read that. Made me smile.

Seriously delighted for you.

I love when parents are so cool about their children coming out, it shows how deep their love is when their only concern is your health and happiness.

Great news Theframes. And a possible tactic for future closeted gays. "I have something to tell you that may shock you. Remember those stomach pains I had last week? No actually you better sit down. I'm GAY! I'm GAY!!!"
