Count Down To A New Pope

No one is wishing the current holder of the unholy see an early demise.
But reports that he has started, at 84, to use the same walking assisting devices as his predecessor, suggest that it will not be long before the Bashing Bishops have to select a successor to Joseph Aloisius Ratzinger.

Who is the most likely successor?
Will he (or she) be more liberal and maybe more gay-friendly?
Or has the reign of Ratzinger resulted in a more closed off system preventing any step forward into modernity?
Will he have to face the Antichrist, as prophesied by Puntalangit...

If the presidential campaign doesn't go well for Mitchell, he could always try run for pope.

Not half as morbid as the Vatican itself...

The embalmed mortal remains of Pope John XXIII, who was beatified recently, have been exhumed after 38 years and paraded in public view at a ceremony in St Peter's Square in Rome.

Dressing a 38 year old corpse up as Santie Claus and parading it around in front of a load of rosary-mumbling rubberneckers- welcome to the Holy See! Holy Show more like.

There must be at least one necrophiliast in the vatican to put some life into him.
