Count Down To A New Pope

# 16 : Monday 17-10-2011 @ 13:39

According to the papal prophecies of St. Malachi, Benedict is the second last pope, and the next pope "Peter the Roman" will bring about "the end".

I'm not one for pish-tosh, but it would be interesting to see if the christian religion comes to an end under the rule of the next pope. It's meant to either be that or the end of the world depending on how you interpret it.

But there's been so many ends of the world lately, that I'm starting to believe "the world" is a little hardier then people firs thought.

They'll probably keep going until they're the same size as the PDs, then wrap it up.

A coincidence?
Wojtyła made 11th of February the day of the sick.

Mark my words, by the 20th day of the sick, in 2012, we will again be bombarded with the profiles of Papabile in the media.

I consider what you wrote to be a false report concerning "Peter the Roman", greenmanpp. Christ has shown through His prophets that the world will not end, but that Christ has returned through the sending again of His angel who is "Peter the Roman", and does not personally bring about said "the end".

No.
If you need to be in heaven, I welcome you.
If you need to be in hell, I put you there.

I think Edward, that you misunderstand the depth of my post. I was summarizing the "prophacy" for the sake of adding it to the thread. I wasn't aiming for a PhD researcher's level of accuracy and discussion of it's inflected meanings.

secondly, What you do and don't personally consider to be accurate reports isn't a worry for me, and I would assume most, since you hold precepts in your beliefs which contradict rational thought.

I only thought the other day when I say a pic of him on newspaper website that he was looking fierce old. Well he is in 80's I know.

I expect his successor to be some old man, maybe in his 60's, a relative youngster! But with the same social outlook.

. . . if the christian religion comes to an end . . .

There is one faith, one religion, and one God - it is welcome of you to cite Christ as the head of each - but for you to imply such end would require some proof of conduct in the past that could substantiate such a premise. As it is already, even Christ's death serves a sanctifying reason, and Christ was raised in the physical by the Lord of the spiritual. It is totally within the scope of reason to see Christ's Resurrection as the ultimate reward, the fruits included being eternal.

When you originally posted this thread almost two weeks ago, had you considered that Peter the Roman, himself, would respond directly?

As to the specifics of the meaning, Christ said that it would be better for one who leads astray another who believes in Him to tie a heavy stone around his neck and drown himself in the depths of the sea. So as to whether you would like to change the seriousness of the matter, it is not totally up to you now any more, is it?

I have been responding to search results for "Peter the Roman" for about two years now. I have looked such prophecy 'in the eye' and have come to know that the love of Christ shown in His resurrecting those whom He has rescued will not be abated by human judgment stating otherwise.
