That sounds perfect Mycroft. Haven't been able to find a solution for US Netflix on a PC.

Finished House of cards last night - loved it. Not to sound like Gentlelover but I'm watching the UK original tonight (not on Netflix) it's just as bloody good.

The original was brilliant

It's nowhere near as slick but I much prefer his asides to camera.

I'm going to watch the UK one as soon as I've finished the US. Some of Spacey's asides are a bit too explanatory. 'This is why I just did that thing...' type stuff.

Yeah they're a bit too obvious! Assuming they're going for the Shakespearean insights into the character's soul its a bit of a rare fail for the programme.

It's great, I will have to get a dvi to hdmi cable now so I can watch it on my TV. The web version is more customisable than my PS3.

House of Cards was good. It got a bit less fun in the final episodes but still worth watching. I am disappointed that there were a couple of filler episodes, though. I thought they'd have been done away with by netflix.

Speaking of filler, I notice that the length of each episode varies from 46 min to 53 min. That *should* be one concrete benefit of the platform - no need to tailor episode lengths to fit a slot.

It keeps asking me for a zip code?

It seems to think I'm in the US.

I think it was that mediahint add-on that was preventing me. I have that installed on Firefox.

I signed up with Safari.

It's working on Safari - I can access the Irish Netflix.

On Firefox though I keep getting a player error and being told to install SilverLight which I have but still happening

Finished House Of Cards. It was so good. I guess there were some duller episodes (8 & 9) but most of it was great.

The thing that works best about it is the core relationship between Frank and Claire. Frank may be a brute but the occasional tenderness between the two as they share a cigarette in the dusk is quite touching.
