First two episodes of House of Cards are VERY strong.

Just saw Lillyhammer is on Netflix too. This was their first production from last year but was only on the US site. Supposed to be pretty good.

Lillehammer is a bit uneven but worth a look in. It's pleasant. Ballykissnorway, basically.

Ok, why did the young journo call over to yer man's house?

I missed something crucial there.

She badly needed a source and they sorta had a connection. He was papped grimacing at her quirky overcoat at the opera.

Ah ok. Thanks! I got that but thought there might be more to it.

Good opening episode. Spacey is just so enjoyable to watch. Hanging the plot on the details of an education bill is even more anorak-y than Borgen but this show has lots of promise.

Well he had just been snubbed by the administration so she figured if ever there was a time he would spill I guess but its a bit out of the blue alright. I love the wife - she's scary.

Just watched ep 2. The wife is brilliant. She's Lady Macbeth.

The whole thing is very more-ish so far. Looking forward to some more episodes.

House of Cards is very addictive. Which is good considering the whole thing is available at once. It's pretty much the anti West Wing - so in other words feels a lot more realistic than Sorkins liberal fantasty. And there a lots of weird little touches that kind of put the audience on edge, in a good way.

How do you look at the US version of Netflix again? Do you use a proxy and just log in with your usual details?

If you have your Xbox connected to the TV, you fiddle with the DNS settings. Googling will give you the exact settings.

Yeah I noticed that too - mainly with his wife.
