Is your laptop under warranty? If it is you could ring HP for support.

it's out of warrenty, if you Google this problem there's lots of posts on various forums, but nothing that seems to resolve the problem. I think I'll bit the bullet and buy a external DVD burner, not too worried if it's not blu ray, never watched a blu ray disk anyway. (but have seen how good they are by downloading a rip)

When you burn CDs you'll sometimes get asked what type of disk you want to create, i.e. an editable version that'll have limited comparability or a mastered version that won't be editable but should be universally compatible. Are you given that option?

yes you mean finalised or multi session ? I always make finalised disks. But tried both types and still not play on anything, AFAIK this is a common problem with this model, so looks like it's a new drive.

If you have the Network Access disc, you can do it.

I can't think of the word - Help!

*************

What's that word you know when you want emails from one email account to be sent to another account?

Like say, I wanted any e-mail I received in work to go to my personal e-mail?

That's what I thought but I dunno. Can't see how to do it now.

Like I'm not in work next week but waiting on an e-mail so trying to get my work e-mails to my personal e-mail.

Have done it before and I just don't know now what I did before.

Add your work email address to your phone / PC and set it up so that a copy is left on the server (for when you return to work)

Whoever is sending this important email to you, maybe ask them to cc your personal email address as well.
