Ok, i hope someone can help me with this.

Im trying to print out some handouts of a powerpoint Ive created. But im having major problems. On each printed page, I want to put my stretches and a photo of them being performed. But every single time i try and print them off it has the picture on the bottom and the stretch instructions at the top... can anyone help me figure out how to put the picture on top with the written instructions underneath??

Well on powerpoint each slide should have a "layout" style. On the layout menu you have a bunch of options on how you want your slide to look.

For text on top and an image underneath select the slide and chose that layout format for the slide.

Then click on the area allotted to your image which will automatically open up a browse window. Go to the destination folder of the desired photo and insert it.

Then click in the allotted text area and type (or cut and paste) the required text.

There is no reason why that should not work.

Am I merely stating what you have already done? Unless I know how you set the parameters its difficult to ascertain what is wrong you see.

Ok I think it's easier to explain it this way. In my powerpoint for example, slide 65 is written instructions on how to perform a 'wall crawl'. Slide 66 then has a picture of it being performed. I have about another 8 different stretches that follow this formula (text first, then picture). But every frigging single time I try to do the handout, the text and picture no longer correspond to each other Ive no doubt this is due to my own deficiencies... I may just have to get my little cousin over to fix it at the weekend

Is it meant to look something like this:

When you are done with your slides go to "print preview" you will see a drop down menu that says "print what" You can chose whether to print slides/handouts/notes or an overview.

Make sure this is set to what you want it could be the culprit.

That looks like you have text and picture on one slide... as opposed to having text on 1 slide, picture on 2nd slide.. no? I checked the print preview but it's wonky there too. Arra Im beyond help at this stage.

I think I understand now. You are putting text on one slide then a picture on the next slide then trying to print this as a handout? So you can see a set of text and an image on each handout?

Shouldn't be a problem doing it as long as you select print - handouts - 2 slides per page. obviously they would have to be in correct order. If you have an uneven number of slides before you begin then it wouldn't work.

What model and ios version are you? Ios 5 caused this exact problem worldwide on the 4 and 4s.
I believe it was fixed in ios 5.01?
