I would have thought it was you doing all the screaming and crying Shaggy when you found out that the dishy steward you were giving eyes to was in fact straight and that he'd run out of Piper Heidseck mini champers bottles half way through the flight.

A straight male air steward?

Aer Lingus have all the dishy stewards. Ryanair are the Lidl of male air stewards.

If you allow yourself to be treated like shit then you deserve to be treated like shit. Fly with someone else .

I fly with someone else if at all possible.
I'd rather pay extra to not feel like a piece of meat.

Rather ironic, coming from the resident proponent of open relationships

I don't give a shit as long as I get there. I hate kids on planes though, I don't see why they can't all be doped up like we did in my family.

No thanks Ryanair when flying. Anyone but Ryanair. Tried it once, and never again.

What happened?

For a quick flight to the UK they're grand.

The 4 hour flights though can be a bit of a pain with the zero leg room!

That'll be the next plan, dope us up and hang us on a rack for the flight!

This is a bit silly.... I'm sure if they were taken to small claims court by people on this they would lose! If they can't provide the service they can't charge you later at the airport...

I'm not sure if they have notified passengers other than through the media.

If anyone is traveling this weekend, make sure you are checked in by 4pm today.

********

Ryanair has said that it will be shutting down its online check-in facility this weekend to facilitate maintenance work on its website.

The airline said the facility will be down from 4pm until 12 noon on Sunday. Passengers who haven't checked in before 4pm will face a €60 surcharge.

Online bookings will also be affected by the upgrade work. The facility will shut down for 24 hours, from 10pm tonight.

Ryanair has apologised but said that all passengers have been notified.
