I am doing the "Buy Nothing Day" today.

I'm unemployed and broke as fuck, so pretty much every day is buy nothing day unless I'm buying groceries. But today I pretend it has some political significance.

Got petrol this morning and the top wash was reduced to 2 quid Valid for 5 days.
Tried to convince him to sell me a few to give to friends but he wouldn't budge

D.I.D have wet and dry electric shavers for 50 Euro, down from 150 Euro, the only snag is that the two pin plug won't fit any socket.

They are made for the socket above the sink in your bathroom.
If you don't have one, just grab an adapter in Boots.

Picked up a Lenovo A2 10.1" Tablet in Power City this morning for only €179.
My ipad got busted over Christmas and I can't be arsed getting it repaired.

I'm enjoying the freedom of Android and the fact that I can install a proper ad block for free is a big bonus. I'll be rooting it later on and exploring the possibilities.

When you compare what the feckin ipads cost us
The Dolby atmos sound system is amazing through headphones and the picture quality seems to be better than my old ipad 4

I'd recommend it for a casual user.

Turning off Ads at a system level (not just in browser) with AdAway via F Droid is such a killer app for Android.

GravityBox is excellent for UI tweaks too.

Rooting is a must though.

Thanks for the tips Thomas.
Apart from Android TV boxes, this is my first foray into the OS
