I never understand people who think having kids is a bad thing, who do you think will be paying your pension? People should be having more.

Definitely a good idea for a thread!

I agree - not trying to drag in the contents of another thread but with a falling birthrate in the western world we need new people arriving here, as well as having more babies. In my country you get a €1,000 bonus within one month of a new baby being born. Childcare is free and by the time children start elementary school they usually are proficient in a second language.

Eh, I don't know really. I guess the situation was kind of neutral.

I thought it was funny how natural it flowed out from him.

Oh right, I thought it was some sexual thing. Not really an odd thing to say really. Surely we have all said 'hold my point/joint - while I talk to this fella'.

I just loved the idea of

"I'm going to talk to this fella until his genitalia falls off, all in the time it takes you to roll a joint"

Heard this today on the bus

Passenger; "Did you hear hurricane Barney is coming back?"

Bus driver; "why are all the hurricanes named after men"

Passenger; "I thought they named this one after the purple dinosaur"
