Do a Gaire search using the word "Gourmet" and you'll find loads of ideas.

I really like Tante Zoe's (Cajun food) in Temple Bar.

But haven't been there in ages so not sure if it's still good.

Whitefriar Grill on Aungier Street is really good and not too expensive and Brioche, across the Street, which does what you might call French tapas, is very good and very reasonable.

I was in the Larder restaraunt across the road from the Front Lounge recently, nice food, but one of these decorated plates kind of shops which I hate, so id avoid there,, I had to go to the little pizza shop a few doors up and I was then ready for a few bottles of Budvar in the Front Lounge

I was there a couple of weeks ago for a sort of reunion with some old friends that I don't see that often ... nearly died when we got the bill because it really wasn't great
