I usually get my mash right but not this time!

I being them to the boil then turn them down in a low heat. This time, I left them boiling while playing "just one more game" of Call of Duty. I've fecked up so many dinners with that game.

But! I have the rest of the stew to look forward to tomorrow.

@Honest Joe, I will try the butter thing.

Did you try the butter thing yet??

The IT has a nice recipe in today's issue
for a stew with a twist. Made with venison
(my favourite game meat).

Just one more meal left from the last batch of stew for this evening. Thinking about the next batch, not going to try combinations of different meats again for the present.

Had chicken stew for 2 days at the beginning of the week.
Made beef stew last night for 4 days.
Turnip and celery are my New additions to the ingredients.
Ingredients are Spuds, mushrooms, beef, carrots, parsnip, celery, turnip, onions, ginger and a bit of soup mix as mentioned earlier in the thread.
Very nice stew.

Made beef stew today, but my dumpings seem to melt into it, kinda spoilt it for me.

Made a nice meat free stew for Good Friday. Just spuds and vegetables. It was surprisingly eatable.

Good job 19%

I dunno if I can stick a stew with the warmer weather. Might have to hold off until autumn.

I made a rabbit stew this weekend, with a jointed rabbit, rich beef stock, brown ale, carrots, peas and garlic. It was really good.
