you don't think that if England votes to stay they will not earn a great deal of power within the halls of Brussels..??

No. Theyll be even less respected.

Plus the deal Cameron did beforehand will give them less influence. If The UK voted to stay by a landslide to remain I'd agree Oliver but No I couldn't agree with your suggestion at all.

Every sign is saying remain.

So im going to stick my neck out and say leave by 53%.

Im relying on the fact that the uk doesnt usually do referendums so the polls havent had much practice, they got it really wrong last time, and the polls havent reached certain conservative and working class voters who usually dont vote. There are people out there who have been keeping their heads down in case of being labelled xenophobic or stupid. There were a lot of dont knows still.

I have a feeling theyll vote emotionally when they reach the ballot box.

Yeah I have my doubts about the polls too - they were way off in the GE and like you say I don't see them reaching all the voters either. Maybe they adjust for that but we'll soon see.

@ Ianmcg, its been a very bitter campaign on both sides. Project Fear 2.0 was horrendously patronising and then you have the racist undertones of Leave.

Either way, the country is very split.

A significant minority is about to be forced out, or kept in, against their will.

But thats democracy, the winner takes it all.

Scratch that. Pound has just dropped 3% on the newcastle result, and falling.

Bumpy night ahead for sterling?

Too early to tell but already the poll data predictions are looking a bit wobbly according to the BBC.
