I havent had a pet since Sooty died though technically she was a family pet until I moved out 11 years ago though she died in 2013. I would like a golden labrador but technically I dont think pets are allowed on this estate or at least thats what the letter I got said when I moved in. But the rules are being ignored. Golden labradors are loyal and docile. You can rely on them not to bite visitors.

My mum's new cat (a rescue kitten) is finally coming out of her shell and becoming a cheeky little addition to the family.
She still instinctively runs for cover sometimes when a person walks into the room, but she's started doing it less. When you can finally convince her to make physical contact (usually through the medium of playing with little balls and toy mice, which she is instantly receptive too) she suddenly becomes super affectionate, like she's remembering "OH yeah, getting petted feels good"

Her name is Mo, but she also has the nicknames "Babushka" and "Fucknose"

I have a cat called Wanda, she's two and I found here when I was a soldier on duty in Chechnya. She sleeps with me. I love here very much.

Cute! Sounds like the best of both worlds.

No, worse of both worlds. I had to get a letter cage as he kept eating the post and once made the postman bleed trying to get the post off him. He licks plastic bags and places fetch. Is a general nuisance.

Earlier when I got home - soaked in the rain. He convinced me to go out again for his walk.
