How To Build Muscle

# 1 : Monday 17-10-2016 @ 13:20

As I have mentioned on other threads I last year went on a diet
I have lost around 20kg and reduced by body fat % to around ten
Losing weight was my main goal but I would also like to build muscle and look more toned
Antone any advice on how to do this

I plan to do more weight training over the next few months and try to increase protein in take
I have thought about using supplements and or legal steroids but dont know the best course of action
I dont want to be huge but just have more muscle definition and look like I work out
It is mainly my arms where I want to build muscle

anyone have any advice

I wouldnt advise using protein powders, etc, to bulk up. It's not a good look IMHO. You could try swimming to get a more natural looking physique plus it's more fun than lifting weights surely?

Hey I am thinking I may have to go on the whey. I believe I have built some muscle this week but I am going to start tracking it better but the aim is to add about 1kg of muscle by Christmas.

Protein whey shakes and supplements don't cause any problems. Its the steroids that give the unnatural look simply because its a quick solution. Like theres no point being massive on top with a flabby belly. Not to mention all the other shit that goes with it.

Stepping up the protein and exercising and eating healthily is the key. The changes are subtle and take time but its the best way to do it.

I do a mix of exercise each week just classes in the gym, swimming and running. I cut out all processed food from food shop, limit intake of soft drinks by only buying cans, I think it makes me look toned and slimer, but I'm between 2 and 4 kilo heavier than I started in gym, due to muscle I hope.

Well my bf% dropped and weight increased last week so I assume I put on muscle about 200g I think. I just need to lift heavier weights and get a routine going
