Given that there is as much science behind cryogenics and conversion therapy, according to research by the "V" University of Dupres (NY), I reckoned we could bundle them together.

More seriously, would you consider "cryogenics" after you die.
Or would you even consider being frozen while still alive, if you felt there is a chance that:

- Someone would pay for the upkeep of the cryo-tube

- Someone would care to revive you
(did you take the "don't turn me into a sex-slave upgrade?)

- You could benefit from the medical progress of the future to live longer after your revival

- All the people you bullied you would be long dead (as well as the ones you loved you). Unless of course they get revived before you and graft your fist to your face.

No, we are going to die and no point in dragging it out.

Cryogenics is a load of shit, when you're dead, you're dead and no amount of future technology will change that.

Even if medical science could find a cure for whatever disease you had they would still have to find a way to reanimate your body and brain which both get damaged by the freezing process. There is no proof they will ever be able to this. People just want hope, some believe God will offer an after life and others think it will be science. I think mother nature will win out, we live we die, same as every other living creature, circle of life and all that.

I busted up my brain in a bike accident and was warned that it could come back and bite me.

Freeze me all you want... You are still getting a vegetable out the other end.

I have no problem with either being immortal, or being frozen for a long time. But I certainly wouldn't undergo it as a means of waiting to find a way of adjusting homosexuality.

I often wonder if you would be lonely as all your friends and family would be gone and it would be a totally new world to the one you knew. or if you had a loved one and they were now old and remarried like That mel gibson film Forever Young and if there would be side effects..

It's a matter of adapting to grief, and not letting it eat you up.

When it first started people were preserved who died of things that are now treatable. Not one of them has been brought back. Not least because they were preserved incorrectly. But assuming it was possible. Who is going to make the decision to revive someone in fifty or a hundred years time. Plus why are you so important to think you deserve another shot.

It's science fiction fantasy.

One of their "alternative truth/fact" about this is that the technology to revive them is not invented yet.
They do not realize how dumb that argument is: it's like writing (encoding) data on a read-only DVD with a twig, and claiming that in the future new technologies will be able to decode that!
