I got misled by ignorant journalist who did not know that the last year of the 19th century is 1900.

Last 2 women who lived in the 19th century are the new oldest women/person, and her runner-up:
- Violet Brown, Jamaica (03/10/1900)
- Nabi Tajima, Japon (08/04/1900)
