There's the Gypsy Rose on Aston Quay, at the edge of Temple Bar. Heavy classic rock, metal, grunge, punk and a bit of blues.

Bruxelles would probably be my favourite, but the rock bar only.

Like Fibbers too but I hardly ever go out these days anyway.

Never been to Gipsy Rose but always had the (possibly totally unfounded) impression that it's a posers bars, where people who think they're really hardcore because they listen to Guns n Roses go for drink...

Nah...it's the real deal. Bikers and ageing rockets inhabit the joint. The live music is good too.

Ok cool so I've heard of all of those and been to some. Was just wondering was there somewhere I was missing. Must try to get to all of the above soon

It might be the name, reminiscent of Guns n Roses which reminds me of the 80's hard rock fans, who I found so lame.

Still prob wouldn't be my kinda place, bike bars are not my thing at all.

I guess, it's very central so I guess it wouldn't hurt to have a drink there sometime

You can get a free drink if you toss your bra onto the ceiling.

With pints at six quid, it might be profitable to buy a cheap one to throw up.
