Ripped Jeans...Why?

# 1 : Friday 6-10-2017 @ 23:45

The resurgence of the sliced jeans fashion, years before it was due to, has me puzzled. Why such a rapid fashion turnaround, why do knees suddenly feel the need to breathe, are the frontal leg knob exposures an expression of something more than fashion.?

As "Fashion" goes the ripped jeans aren't too bad or at the very least have been there in one way or another for years now but what I really don't get is the new thing where people pay for ripped t-shirts, tops and hoodies. Besides from looking ridiculous why in the name of all that is holy would you pay someone €40 to pretty much take a Stanley blade to a €3 t-shirt from Penneys? Like do they think there is some expensive process that goes on just to get the rips in the right place or something? people are quite literally paying a fortune now to dress like tramps, pretty soon now it will be buy 3 ripped t-shirts and get a bottle of authentic tramp urine free to douse yourself with for that full "I sleep on the streets" effect. People are stupid

I seen a bloke with a Number of the Beast t-shirt a while back in the cafe at castletown and commented that it was the first metal album I ever bought.
"It's an album?".

I felt like dropping him

One could argue it is even worse if and when they have a clue, and still act as sandwich-(wo)men to their merchandizing!
Blame the bands in the first place for being commercial vanilla versions of themselves to reach to that audience!

Bit of a soft spot for ripped jeans. A gorgeous friend of mine looked great in them though he had perhaps a tear too many as one time his balls were on display.
